STUDY TOURS

EduTours (Holiday Study Tours) are an enjoyable way to improve your ability to speak and understand English, over a short time. Courses combine with touring and sightseeing of famous places within Sydney (also the Gold Coast, Queensland and New Zealand).

The courses provide opportunities to communicate with native speakers of English and to broaden your knowledge of Australia history.

Australian Pacific College runs a holiday Study Tour (Edutour) program for groups who come to Australia for a short time. Programs are suited to all ages and can be tailored to meet the needs of the individual groups. An Edutour is an enjoyable way to improve English skills while at the same time experiencing Australian culture. Specialised programs related to specific occupations are available for adult visitors. School-aged groups can include an Australia School Visit in their program, if requested.

Opportunities are provided to communicate with native speakers and to broaden understanding of Australian history, art, plants and animals, famous locations and culture. It is anticipated that, through the Edutour program students should be able to demonstrate understanding of some aspects of Australian culture through use of correct spoken and written English in relation to the themes being covered. As well they should show some progress in vocabulary acquisition and macro skills development through activities related to Australia.
