APC Social Club

The Social Club offers all APC students the chance to experience trips to the Blue Mountains, Wollongong, Hunter valley, Jenolan Caves, Thredbo and Canberra. These activities are offered during the weekend.

APC has its own representative soccer team with the ELSA League, for those keen soccer enthusiasts! Soccer games are on Friday afternoons.

Recreation is important in order to ensure that the students are maintaining a healthy lifestyle and are able to maximize their educational opportunity; therefore the APC Social Club offers all APC students the chance to experience trips to the bushwalking (Blue Mountains), surfing (Wollongong), snowboarding or skiing (Thredbo), recreational fun (Hunter Valley, Jenolan Caves, Canberra). These activities are offered during the weekend.

Sporting Activities

APC Football Team

Don’t forget the Football team. Meet at Kent St, 1.45pm. We play every Friday at 3pm at Queen’s Park, Bondi Junction

APC has a history of participating in sporting activities: the APC football team being one example. On Friday afternoons throughout the winter season, APC participates in the 'English Language Schools Association Football Competition' where ten ESL colleges play a 26-week competition for the ELSA Soccer Cup.

This activity is a great way for students to experience team spirit and, at the same time, exercise their sporting skills or simply spend the afternoon in the park supporting their college team. Afterwards, students can relax and interact with players and supporters of varied nationalities at the informal gatherings which invariably take place at the local pubs and clubs.

All in all, a wonderful opportunity for students to unwind at the end of the week, meet new people and make new friends.
