Tanya Visagie

Trainer and Assessor in Interior Design

I’m passionate about sharing knowledge, helping others grow and develop their skills. What I love most, is to see how the students gain confidence in their own designs and develop into great designers.

I am a qualified Interior Designer with a Masters Degree, 7+ years of Interior Design experience and a demonstrated history of working on small and large scale projects across corporate (commercial), retail, hospitality, healthcare and pharmaceutical facility design. My most recent projects include Queens Wharf (Brisbane), Gold Coast Airport (Gold Coast), Ipswich Mental Hospital (Brisbane), and Cross River Rail Crew Building (Brisbane). I specialise in CAD software; Revit Architecture, AutoCAD and SketchUp, which enables me to support students throughout their projects. I have been teaching at APC since 2021. My personal interests are spatial analytics, learning methods, nutrition, and animals.
