Details about the Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) and Skills Recognition process, and Credit Transfers from other Registered Training Organisations.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available for all courses, subjects and units of learning and competency being offered by APC and APC Design School.
If you have experience, skills and knowledge in your field of work – you may be eligible or even close to attaining a related qualification.
RPL and Skills Recognition is an assessment process allowing individuals to achieve a part of a Nationally Recognised Qualification by demonstrating their vocational knowledge, skills and experience around a particular industry that is covered in our courses. Assessing qualifications by RPL requires the gathering of extensive portfolio evidence, Third Party Reports, Certificates and Transcripts for prior study and qualifications, references for vocational work experience and a mandatory Interview with an Academic representative.
RPL should not be confused with Credit Transfer which is also available to all students enrolling in APC or APC Design School’s education/training programs.
When applying for RPL you will need the RTO codes for the college:
The RPL Assessment fee is $250 per unit of competency. VET Student Loans do not apply to RPL fees.
