Exclusive Course Credit Transfer Opportunities – Lonsdale Institute & APC/EU

Australian Pacific College (APC) and English Unlimited (EU) (“APC/EU”) have entered into an exclusive course credit transfer agreement to provide immediate access to wider and exciting opportunities for students at Lonsdale Institute (LI) who wish to transfer their course to APC/EU.

Lonsdale Institute is currently exploring options for the future of its business. During this period, our top priority has been, and continues to be, securing the welfare and future study plans of every student.

We have established an exclusive student transfer arrangement allowing all current LI students to carefully consider their options, including the seamless and orderly transfer to APC/EU should they choose to do so.

It’s important to understand that this notice is not regarding a provider default. This arrangement has been proactively put in place to ensure students have ample time and support to consider alternative study pathways while Lonsdale Institute evaluates the future of their business.

We acknowledge the extensive work undertaken for this arrangement, including consultations and compliance considerations of regulators such as Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and the Tuition Protection Service (TPS), to facilitate an orderly transition for students. Every decision made by Lonsdale Institute and APC/EU, has been with the primary goal of minimising any disruption to student study plans.

Benefits include: 

1. Minimum disruptions to existing study plans with course mapping by APC/EU.  APC/EU will assess and if accepted, provide a Letter of Offer with a study plan that will minimise any disruptions to existing study plans including credit transfers,

2. For students who apply and transfer before 5pm, Wednesday 23 July 2025, any pre-paid and unused (unspent) portion of tuition fees already paid to LI will be honoured by APC/EU (no extra payment). Unspent tuition fees are tuition fees that have not already been used in delivering your education and training at LI.

3. Access to existing and future APC/EU pathway credit arrangements (with fee and time savings) with over 15 Australian institutions and Universities,

4. More Study Locations – options with APC/EU with no or minimal disruptions to current study plans:

   • Sydney

   • Manly Beach

   • Melbourne

   • Brisbane

   • Gold Coast

   • Adelaide

5. “No-fee-disadvantage” is assured by APC/EU:

   • APC will provide “fee-matching” of tuition fees, even where APC/EU fees are higher

   • No-extra-cost admissions and credit transfer processing (application fee waiver)

   • New Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) at no cost (if needed)

   • For students who transfer before 5pm, Wednesday 23 July 2025, APC/EU will honour any “unspent” tuition fees (see above point 2.)

6. If you apply (and are accepted) for course credit and transfer before Wednesday 23 July 2025, in the event LI decides to discontinue any of their courses in the future, APC/EU will honour this exclusive course credit transfer opportunity, subject to the normal conditions of enrolment.
