LEARN SEWING MACHINIST SKILLSET for FREE!
We are looking for candidates who are eager to acquire a new skill set that will open doors to employment opportunities in the Fashion and Textile industry in Brisbane. No prior experience or skills are necessary, although candidates may have an interest in sewing or used sewing machines in the past. They should enjoy working with their hands, as this field involves practical and hands-on tasks.
Candidates must be either an Australian citizen or permanent resident, aged 18 or older with a minimum English level of pre-intermediate. We will provide support and resources to help candidates throughout the program.
The program requires candidates to be willing and available to participate in a comprehensive 4-week training program, followed by an industry work placement. Students will receive skillset training made up of six (6) units of competency from the Cert II in Applied Fashion Design and Technology.
